How to Get 5 Greater Affixes on a Single Item

Before Season 11, the maximum number of Diablo 4 Items Greater Affixes on an Ancestral item was four. That cap is now officially broken. If you're lucky enough to find an Ancestral item with four Greater Affixes, you can Temper a fifth one onto it, creating the most powerful rare or legendary item ever seen in Diablo 4.

These 5-Greater-Affix items represent the new pinnacle of gearing. They are incredibly rare, but no longer impossible, and they've given dedicated players a long-term chase that feels genuinely rewarding.
