Anyone mixing Dating Banner Ads with native traffic?
Has anyone here tried running banners and native traffic together for dating offers? I have been testing this lately and I am curious if others are seeing the same patterns.
For a while, I only focused on one format at a time. I would run Dating Banner Ads on a few placements and hope for steady clicks. The traffic was fine, but engagement felt flat. When I switched to native only, the click through rate improved, but conversions were inconsistent. It felt like I was always missing something.
The biggest issue for me was intent. Banner traffic can be quick and impulse driven. Native traffic feels more blended in and sometimes brings users who are just browsing. When I relied on just one, I either got low quality clicks or decent interest but weak follow through.
So I decided to test both at the same time instead of choosing one. I kept my banners simple and direct, mostly focused on a clear call to action. For native, I used softer angles that felt more like content than ads. What I noticed was interesting. Native warmed people up. Banners helped close. Retargeting people who clicked native with banners worked better than sending them straight to the offer again.
It is not perfect and I still tweak creatives and placements, but combining the two gave me more stable results than running them separately. If you are stuck with inconsistent performance, maybe try layering your traffic sources instead of replacing one with another. Sometimes it is not about picking the better format, but about letting them support each other.
